Scope and ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of DHR’s Executive Search and Leadership Consulting (LC) team, the Client Coordinator provides high-level executive assistant, administrative, and operational support to one or more Partners and senior team members. This role ensures the seamless execution of search assignments from start to finish through coordination, documentation, scheduling, and client support.
The Client Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining search quality, managing timelines, and ensuring an exceptional experience for both clients and candidates in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key responsibilities and deliverables include:
- Client & Candidate Coordination
:
Coordinate all interview scheduling and logistics for candidates and clients, including travel arrangements such as flights, hotels, and meeting details, ensuring seamless communication across all parties. - Calendar & Travel Management
:
Manage consultant calendars and coordinate complex travel and meeting schedules, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. - Search Execution & Documentation
:
Prepare and manage all search-related materials from initiation through closeout, including qualifications packages, proposals, position specifications, target lists, progress reports, candidate presentations, reference reports, and client correspondence in accordance with DHR brand standards. - Search Closeout & Data Management
:
Ensure proper closeout of completed searches, including organization of all materials and compliance with database and audit requirements. - Business Development Support
:
Support Partners in business development activities by maintaining CRM systems, tracking follow-ups, and assisting with proposals and marketing materials. - Billing & Administrative Support
:
Assist with client billing processes, monitor accounts receivable, and review monthly billing worksheets to ensure accuracy and proper allocation of charges. - Office & Operational Support
:
Provide general administrative support including meeting preparation, office coordination, IT setup, supply ordering, and ad hoc project assistance as required.
DHR Global seeks an individual with strong intellectual curiosity, creativity, and business acumen who will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic consulting environment.
The Successful Candidate will have:
- A Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of relevant professional experience in consulting, research, or marketing.
- Experience in professional services or executive search preferred.
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling deliverables.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, AI tools, and other relevant applications.
- Experience working in deadline-driven, production-oriented environments with the ability to maintain a positive, solution-oriented approach in a fast-paced setting.
- Manages multiple assignments with competing priorities, ensures timely coordination of schedules and deliverables, and maintains consistent communication across stakeholders.
- A strategic mindset with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience conducting business-related research and compiling insights into structured presentations or reports.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively in team settings as well as independently.
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, and executive presence in both written and verbal communication.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for learning and growing in a leadership consulting environment.
- Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
- Must be based in Chicago, IL or Charlotte, NC.
