Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a motivated and detail‑orientated Supply Chain Intern to join our team. This internship provides a hands‑on opportunity to learn how global trade works inside a corporate environment — including import/export regulations, customs classification, trade analytics, and compliance program management. You will work alongside experienced trade professionals and support real‑world projects that help ensure the company meets its regulatory obligations in the U.S. and abroad.

This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based in Deerfield, IL.
Responsibilities- Assist with import and export compliance recordkeeping activities.
- Support HTS, Schedule B, and ECCN classification research.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Extract, analyze, and summarize trade‑related data (imports, exports, suppliers, country‑of‑origin).
- Assist with maintaining internal compliance procedures, SOPs, and training materials.
- Work with teams such as Logistics, Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain, Legal, and Quality to gather information for compliance initiatives.
- Attend team meetings, project briefings, and compliance training sessions.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program; degree focus in Business, Organizational Management or Supply Chain preferred.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Pro‑active, can take initiative in the absence of specific guidance.
- Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention‑to‑detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- High level of professionalism.
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $33,300 USD - $45,760 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role‑based sales incentive plan.
