Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Chief of Investigations, an Intelligence Analyst will evaluate and assess information and contribute to the production of raw and finished intelligence products. The Analyst will review and analyze technical and human source collections to identify gaps, new targets and potential subjects for investigation. They will respond to requests, conduct relevant database checks and provide detailed written responses to the appropriate audience.
In addition, the Analyst will conduct tactical analysis from multiple data sources that contribute to criminal and civil investigations, conduct extensive research within multiple external or internal databases and sources to find relevant information, identify gaps, patterns, trends and anomalies, and produce reports and tactical products for dissemination. They will determine the best format to present information, prepare briefings and written reports regarding conclusions and recommendations drawn from data and information.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a criminal justice-related field and three years of related work experience.
- Strong leadership, judgment and problem‑solving skills.
- Working knowledge of criminal intelligence analysis.
- Strong technological skills.
- Attendance, flexibility, outstanding written and communication skills, and ability to build and maintain satisfactory working relationships with other agencies and OAG employees.
Position requires in office attendance.
