Senior Data Analytics Consultant – Underwriting Portfolio Management

Responsibilities

• Leads smaller scale projects that involve the analysis of moderately complex to complex modeling
• Provides business insights and recommendations to support business improvements
• Reports findings to Senior Management
• Builds complex dashboards and prepares reports for Senior Management
• Acts as a technical resource and regularly identifies opportunities to leverage new IT solutions
• Works independently and partners with other analytical teams across the organization
• Responds to and fulfills adhoc data requests

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or related field
• Typically a minimum of seven years of related work experience
• Solid knowledge of core functions of an insurance company
• Solid technical knowledge of financial, economical and statistical practices
• Solid interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Solid analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Solid project management, organization and planning skills
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
