Role Overview
The position reports to the Vice President, Due Diligence and Strategy, works closely with the M&A Finance team, practice leadership, and other department leads. The role requires the ability to communicate with cross‑functional leaders, grasp complex financial modeling, and maintain a trusted advisor capacity to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities- Support financial modeling for forecasting cash flow, identifying market opportunities, and estimating transaction economics; assist with collecting practice information and developing pro‑forma financials.
- Develop customer‑facing presentations, PPTs, and financial summaries; produce internal executive summaries for the executive team.
- Manage the overall deal process, coordinating legal, operational leadership to shorten sales cycle and achieve growth goals.
- Coordinate development of market analytics and growth strategies; assist in strategic planning sessions with the US Oncology Network.
- Support due diligence for incoming practices to assess risk, opportunities, and finalize budgets.
- Assist with onboarding and serve as an ongoing resource for Managers of Business Development.
- Prepare presentations for field‑based directors on financial transactions and value proposition.
- Communicate internally with legal, M&A Finance, and operations to solve deal points and quantify growth areas.
- Develop market analytics to support strategic initiatives.
- Research current support services and act as liaison.
- Degree or equivalent; typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
- 4‑year degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or equivalent.
MBA preferred or equivalent experience.
Critical Skills- 7+ years of financial analysis/business development experience in a corporate/consulting environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interact at all levels of large businesses, provide strategic thinking, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and be solutions‑oriented.
- Ability to work well with and influence others.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a new environment and have a proactive approach to learning.
- Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required.
