Job DescriptionIn coordination with the Project Manager, take charge of all field construction activities and personnel on site. Ensure the delivery of a quality product completed on time, while maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities- Accept ownership of all job site activities and personnel, including on-site planning, material & equipment management, process execution, and safety.
- Oversee and report daily progress to the project team, ensuring on-time completion and adherence to budget.
- Interpret and manage construction activities based on installation standards, project files, drawings, documents & records.
- Lead benchmarking, shareholder review, and approval activities based on installation standards.
- Coordinate basic project and construction activities, including planning, scheduling, cost management, change order identification, procurement/receiving of materials, and customer relations.
- Manage field personnel and subcontractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Experience with installation and maintenance of construction projects.
- Uphold and facilitate our safety policy and document safety incidents.
- Coach/mentor employees and provide performance feedback.
- Provide on-site training for field personnel.
- Develop and implement project procedures, schedules, and standards.
- Provide technical assistance such as interpretation of drawings, construction method recommendations, material, tools, and equipment specifications and ordering.
- Review material and tool expenses for accuracy and accountability.
- Manage crew efficiency and assess task-based time.
- Communicate conflicts or issues that may affect the schedule.
- Lead by example and work alongside field technicians when needed.
- Build and manage a weekly schedule with a forecasted 3-week look ahead.
- Adhere to local labor laws – Journeyman to Apprentice ratios.
- Act as on-site company representative with strong communication skills, interacting with inspectors, customers, landowners, OSHA, etc.
- Aid in engineering constructability, design, review, and execution planning.

- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, related field, or equivalent combination of experience/education.
- Knowledge of Utility Scale Photovoltaic construction.
- Self-starter and team player.
- Ability to interface with all levels of management, staff, and customers.
- Competency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be willing to travel, including overnight stays up to 100%.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a history of safe and competent driving.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Pay Range: $100,000 to $130,000/year
