Are you ready to take the next step in your construction career as our next Sr. Estimator in Nashville?
Join a leading Nashville-based contractor that’s known for delivering high-quality and high-profile projects. With a solid pipeline of projects and a strong reputation in the market, we’re looking to add an experienced Senior Estimator to our team.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial concrete work (foundations, slabs, walls, site concrete).
- Analyze blueprints, project plans, and specifications to determine scope and pricing.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and develop thorough cost breakdowns.
- Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and field teams to align on scope, schedule, and logistics.
- Solicit vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
- Submit accurate, timely bid proposals.
- Maintain bid tracking, historical cost data, and estimating software databases.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and early project planning.
- Experience: 3–5+ years of estimating or commercial construction experience (with a concrete subcontractor or GC preferred). Open to training someone with a strong PM background and interest in preconstruction.
- Technical
Skills:
Familiarity with construction software's and estimating tools. - Soft Skills: Strong organizational habits, attention to detail, and a team-first mindset.
- Education: Degree in Construction Management or Engineering is a plus
