We’re recruiting for a commercial construction Project Manager opportunity in Fort Waynes, Indiana with relocation assistance available. This is a full-time onsite role with an established design-build construction firm that handles commercial, industrial, education, church, and other non-residential building projects. The client is open to Project Manager or Senior Project Manager level candidates depending on experience.
This is a growth-related opportunity for a construction professional who can lead projects from planning through closeout while working closely with clients, subcontractors, field teams, and internal leadership.
Responsibilities- Manage commercial and industrial construction projects from kickoff through completion
- Serve as a key contact for clients, subcontractors, field teams, and internal leadership
- Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, change orders, billing documents, and records
- Review drawings, scopes of work, contracts, specifications, and project requirements
- Lead project meetings, track progress, resolve issues, and keep stakeholders informed
- Monitor subcontractor performance, job costs, safety, quality, and compliance
- Support, mentor, and coordinate project teams to drive accountability and results
- Commercial or industrial construction project management experience
- Background with a commercial general contractor, construction manager, or design-build firm preferred
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Adobe, Timberline/Sage, or similar tools preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, scopes, and contracts
- Degree in construction management, engineering, civil engineering, or related field preferred
