Superintendent | Construction

Seeking an established and seasoned Superintendent to run both ground up and renovation projects ranging from $5M-$35M. This General Contractor has a diverse portfolio of projects (commercial, interiors, distribution, office, manufacturing, etc.) and has been named a finalist for Contractor of the Year 3 years running. • 5 to 15 years of experience as a Superintendent on vertical construction projects.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations for construction
• Good math and analytical skills;
  Good communication skills
• Ability to teach others verbally and work alongside crews in the field.
• Valid driver’s license and/or reliable means of transportation to job site locations.

• Develop, refine and update the project schedule
• Complete knowledge and understanding of contract drawings/specifications
• Understand project costs and manage company assets
• Create and manage project documentation
• Coordinate project operations including subcontractors and material vendors
• Knowledge of all regulations to ensure all aspects of the project are compliant
• Provide leadership and maintain effective working relationships with the on-site staff
• Enforce Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Core values.
• Develop daily crew lists and manage field activities to ensure project completion date is met
• Lead weekly foreman meeting
• Develop two-week forecast to proactively identify issues that could lead to problems and facilitate solutions
• Maintain regulatory compliance for projects
• Ability to interface and maintain good relationship with owners
