Serves as an Audio Visual Technician I, for the Division of Academy and Training; assists instructors with classroom audio/visual requests, internet, software presentations, and recordings; provides recording assistance to the Audio/Visual Unit staff for departmental special events, i.e., graduations, promotional ceremonies, award ceremonies, etc; sets up and operates audio/visual equipment throughout the state for ISP special events, i.e., funerals, bridge dedications, and graduations;
creates visual presentations for ISP personnel for use in the classroom setting; assists with revising and editing recordings to ensure a high-quality product has been completed; inspects, cleans, and repairs audio/visual equipment on an as-needed basis; identifies antiquated equipment not compatible with current technology and completes the necessary documentation for surplussing the items; ensures the Audio/Visual Unit is in constant supply of materials needed for present and future projects to produce the requested instructor and class necessities;
edits photos and prepares class profile books and squad sheets for cadet and recruit classes for use by Academy staff.

Essential Functions- Assembles and prepares audio/visual equipment for ISP Academy training.
- Maintains the Audio/Visual Unit property control by completing the quarterly and annual inventory process as directed.
- Responsible for maintaining all photography equipment, and coordinates with ISP Academy staff photographic shoots for classes conducted at the Academy and assists department photographer with promotional photographs.
- Responsible for creating the graphics and completion of all Divisional certificates, diplomas, graduation programs etc.
