Salary Range: $45,000.00 To $50,000.00 Annually

News Channel 20/FOX Illinois has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Digital Content Lead in our newsroom. In this role, you will be required to manage real-time multi-platform journalism, shapes web and social media strategies, and guide newsroom staff to maximize audience growth and engagement.

Skills and Experience:

• Editorial direction:
  Guide daily story selection, headline framing, and real-time breaking news coverage
• SEO & Analytics:
  Track metrics to optimize search performance, audience reach, and user engagement
• Team leadership:
  Mentor reporters and producers on digital-first publishing habits.
• Multi-platform distribution:
  Coordinate web, mobile app, video, and social media output.

Requirements and

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in digital journalism, news reporting, or content management
• Strong grasp of CMS platforms, SEO best practices and audience analytics tools
• Previous experience working in a team environment is a must
• A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications or related field
• Clear Driving Record

This is a salaried position. The base salary compensation range for this role is $45K-$50K. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
