What’sthe Role About?
As a Customer Service Specialist (CSS), you'll be working in our call center
, handling customer inquiries and providing exceptional service over the phone. You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, making their experience with Prairie State Bank & Trust seamless and memorable. Your mission will be to provide Above & Beyond service, build strong customer relationships, and help our customers navigate their banking needs with confidence.
- Deliver Exceptional Service:
Answer customer calls with a professional greeting, use their names, and provide helpful, courteous service. Ensure every interaction is friendly and helpful, offering additional assistance when needed. - Customer
Education:
Share your knowledge of our products and services with customers, providing clear and accurate information and helping them understand how to make the most of their accounts. - Be Accountable and Reliable:
Your dependability matters! Show up on time, follow through on promises, and ensure customer inquiries are completed in a timely and thorough manner. - Professionalism & Teamwork:

Prairie State Bank & Trust offers a highly competitive benefit plan consisting of a base salary, bonus plan, 401(k) with employer matching, employer paid health/life insurance, vacation, sick leave, and above average holiday pay.
All candidates may be required to undergo a pre-employment credit background check and drug screening.
Pay Range: $18 - $20 per hour* (based on candidate and experience)
