Position: Neurointerventionalist, Movement Disorder, and Outpatient Opportunity in Central Illinois

A well known University in Central Illinois is seeking a Neurointerventionalist, Epileptologist, Movement Disorder specialist, and Outpatient Neurologist to join their faculty.

Interventional Highlights
  • Fully Inpatient, will cover stroke or NCC service, flexible
  • Flexible schedule, 7/7 or M-F
  • Mentoring and teaching medical students, residents, advanced practice providers and support staff

Movement Disorder Highlights
  • Fully Outpatient
  • 100% Movement Disorder volume to start
  • Collaborative relationship for DBS with functional neurosurgeons
  • Call is 1:6
  • Mentoring and teaching medical students, residents, advanced practice providers and support staff

  • Average of 16-18 patients per day, 30 minute appointments

Epilepsy Highlights
  • 4 Bed EMU
  • Call is 1:6
  • Mentoring and teaching medical students, residents, advanced practice providers and support staff
  • Annually appx. 276 inpatient LTM EEG studies and 733 outpatient EEGs
  • Experience with perioperative stereo-electroencephalogram (SEEG) analysis preferred but not required
  • Experience or willingness to learn the indications and management of VNS, RNS, and DBS is preferred but not required
  • IOM call available for the interested candidate
  • Average of 16-18 patients per day, 30 minute appointments

  • Robust support staff including an EMG Tech and two brand new EMG machines, one is portable
  • Average of 16-18 patients per day, 30 minute appointments
