Lake Imaging is the leading radiology provider within central and western Victoria. With our team comprising of over 25 Radiologists across our regional and metropolitan centres we offer a dynamic work environment within a range of settings including smaller public hospitals, private hospitals, community clinics and specialist centres.
Lake Imaging operates a comprehensive range of imaging including MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, PET-CT, Ultrasound and Interventional Radiology.
Position DetailsLake Imaging has a number of $20,000 scholarships on offer for fourth year Deakin student placements based in either Ballarat, Geelong, Western Melbourne or Warrnambool for 2027. Applications are now open and Deakin students are invited to apply. The 4th year student will have the opportunity to work within a private hospital and one of our private clinics and work alongside our highly qualified staff.
The successful candidate will participate fully in all aspects of work, providing exposure to a comprehensive range of services. You will gain experience in various modalities including:
- DR and CR Radiography
- Fluoroscopy
- CT including interventional and CT Coronary Angiography
- 3T and 1.5T MRI
- Image Intensifier in theatre
- Mobile Radiography
- PET CT
- Digital Mammography/Tomosynthesis
- Coronary Cath Lab/Angiography suite
- Ultrasound
- Bone Densitometry
- Dental imaging
The successful applicant should be professional and personable with excellent teamwork skills and desire to learn.
