Job Summary
Cardiothoracic Surgery private practice seeks a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for an open‑heart program in a diverse suburb of Chicago 15 minutes from downtown.
Key Responsibilities- Perform 150–200 cardiac surgeries per year (100% cardiac)
- Optional thoracic cases
- Lead surgical team and participate in leadership roles
- Participate in shared call rotation (1:4 schedule)
- Collaborate closely with interventional cardiology team
- Engage with general surgery residents in a community‑style practice
- Board‑certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon
- Leadership interest required
- Experience with open‑heart surgery
- Availability for shared call rotation
- Salary up to $1.1 million for experienced cardiac surgeons
