An exciting Anesthesiologist opportunity is available at HSHS St. John's Hospital, a premier regional medical center located in Springfield, IL. As a Certified Level I and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center affiliated with the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, the facility offers advanced surgical and comprehensive care environments. Providers will engage in a versatile clinical practice featuring flexible scheduling and light call responsibilities.

- Located at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL
- Certified Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and a Certified Level I Trauma Center
- Teaching hospital affiliated with Southern Illinois University School of Medicine
- Advanced surgery centers
- Case assignments include general, ortho, cardiac, pediatrics, OB, and more
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Compensation
- Salary: $750K
- Sign-on bonus: $75K

Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Current medical licensure
- ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
