About the Facility  This inpatient psychiatric facility delivers structured forensic behavioral health services to an adult population within a dedicated clinical environment. Locum tenens coverage is sought on an ongoing basis beginning as soon as the selected clinician is credentialed.
About the Facility Location  Springfield is a historically significant destination, home to the Abraham Lincoln Home National Historic Site, the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, and the Dana-Thomas House, among numerous museums and landmarks. Outdoor recreation is accessible at Washington Park, Lake Springfield, and Henson Robinson Zoo. About the Clinician's Workday  The psychiatrist will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services on a dedicated adult forensic unit, working 40 hours per week on-site during day shifts structured as five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days.

Clinical responsibilities include medication management, orders, treatment planning, restraint debriefs, and consults with social workers for a caseload of approximately 25 adult patients. The role is assigned exclusively to one forensic unit, with no floating between units required. Location Type:
