The Department of Physics is searching for a position to teach Physics 220, Mechanics I, a junior level course focusing on Newtonian and Lagrangian dynamics.

With a terminal degree, the monthly rate will range between $1,333 and $1,777 per three‑credit‑hour course.

• A conferred PhD in Physics or a closely related discipline.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Candidate must be able to demonstrate oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position, as mandated by state law.
