Shape Futures, Empower Lives: LLCC is searching for our next adult education coordinator!
This position coordinates an assigned area of LLCC's adult education program, inclusive of:
Adult Basic Education (ABE), Adult Secondary Education (ASE), High School Equivalency preparation, English as a Second Language (ESL), Bridge and Career Pathway programs, employability skills training, and/or community, family and workplace literacy.
As a staff member at LLCC, you can look forward to 23 paid holidays a year, including 2 weeks at the end of the calendar year and one week in March for mid-semester break; 12 Fridays off in the summer; and 2 personal days, 15 sick days, and starting with 15 vacation days per year. LLCC staff, their spouse and qualified dependent children are eligible to use the tuition waiver on credited courses.

This is a grant-funded position. Funding for this position has been secured through 03/31/2027. Salary will be $55,976 per year with an excellent benefits package.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* Experience in coordinating teams or projects
* Experience in an academic setting, preferably supporting a diverse population, including low-income, first generation adult students
* Proficiency with computer applications including Word, Outlook, Access, and Excel
* Valid Illinois Driver's License, travel is required
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and drug-screen.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree
* Experience in the coordination of grant activities

Participate in the hiring of adult education instructors. Manage the coordination, training, and evaluation of adult education instructors. Seek and provide appropriate opportunities for professional development activities.
