Lincoln Land Community College is looking for qualified part‑time instructors to teach various courses within our Respiratory Care Program. Classes are offered during the day, one to two days per week, with flexible hours available.
Adjunct Faculty at LLCC receive one paid absence per class, per semester; free access to the LLCC Fitness Center during available hours; a travel stipend if commuting more than twenty miles to campus; and a tuition waiver for adjunct faculty and their dependents under the age of 22. Adjuncts with qualifying assignments also participate in the State Universities Retirement System (SURS).
ResponsibilitiesTeach Respiratory Care courses as an adjunct faculty member, preparing instructional materials, delivering lessons, assessing student performance, and maintaining instructional records. Faculty are expected to adhere to academic standards and institutional policies.
Position Requirements- Applicants must possess an associate degree; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience in an accredited program; experience as a Clinical Preceptor or Preceptor Evaluator is preferred.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist, licensed in the state of Illinois.
- Current member of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), or willingness to become a member if selected.
- Transcripts are required and must be uploaded with a current resume.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
