Full-Time School Psychologist

Requirements:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois, in accordance with local and state regulations.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience working as a School Psychologist or in a related field.
- Proficiency in conducting psycho educational assessments, interpreting results, and making recommendations for intervention.
- Strong understanding of child development, learning theories, and evidence-based practices in education and psychology.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans for students with special needs.
- Providing counseling and intervention services to support students' social and emotional well-being.
- Conducting crisis intervention and providing support to students in crisis situations.
- Serving as a consultant to teachers and staff on behavior management strategies and classroom accommodations.
- Participating in school-wide initiatives to promote a positive school climate and prevent bullying and harassment.
