Job description:

Taylor Robinson Music is seeking private music instructors who share the philosophy "Learn to Play From the Heart." We aim to make music lessons accessible and affordable and believe music education is essential to a better, happier world. We are especially seeking instructors for guitar.

Responsibilities
  • Provide private music lessons to students, with a focus on guitar.
  • Conduct lessons in the student's home, in the instructor's home or studio, or via webcam. While webcam lessons are offered, in-person lessons are preferred and students are mainly in-person.
  • Travel to students' locations as needed within the [City], [State] area or host students locally.
  • Set your own schedule and develop your own curriculum/lesson plans.
  • Partner with Taylor Robinson Music, which handles advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing to bring in students.
  • Maintain regular communication with the office and be organized and punctual for all lessons.
  • Comply with health precautions as appropriate (e.g., masking, hand sanitizing, social distancing when applicable).

Qualifications
  • Great with kids, loves teaching, and communicates well with the office; organized and timely for lessons.
  • Formal music training is not mandatory, but one of the following is required: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.
