Position: School Psychologist [82041]

We’re seeking a compassionate and committed School Psychologist to join a collaborative and student-centered academic team in Cook County, IL for the 2026–2027 school year. In this role, you’ll apply your expertise to support students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success within the school environment.

  • Location: In-person in Cook County, IL (hybrid or remote options are not available)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday
  • Hours: 32.5–37 hours per week
  • Grade Level(s): To be determined
  • Duration: August 2026 – June 2027
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct psychological services to students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments in the social-emotional and behavioral domains
  • Develop, implement, and support Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Deliver individual and group counseling services as appropriate
  • Participate in IEP meetings, documentation, and multidisciplinary team collaboration
  • Provide consultation and support to educators, administrators, and families
  • Assist with crisis intervention and student support as needed
Qualifications
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
  • Prior school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to supporting student well-being and educational success
