High School Teacher - Math at Lanphier High School

Duties

* Work with students to build organizational skills

* Provide support to students for core classes through a tutorial model

* Assist students with self-monitoring of academic progress and communication with teachers

* Work collaboratively with students and families to support student academic needs

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Valid Illinois Professional Educators License with high school endorsement in Math

* Knowledge of instructional practices that promote supportive learning environments

* Ability to communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form and have had prior experiences demonstrating the use of collaborative teamwork

* Experience in flexible grouping instructional practices

* Working knowledge of integrated instruction and student-centered learning
