Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Social Worker for the  school year in Cicero, IL. This part-time role is crucial in supporting the social and emotional well-being of students in a K-8 school setting. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational environment.

Position Details:

• Type: Part-Time
• Hours: 2 days per week (15 hours)
• Possible Extension: Hours may be extended based on additional enrollment or IEP needs.
• Location: One building serving grades K-8

Qualifications:

• Professional Educator License (PEL) with Social Work Endorsement (Type 73) is required.

Daily

Duties Include:

• Participating in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings
• Conducting tri-annual evaluations
• Handling initial evaluations
• Providing therapy and counseling services
