The Dr. Julia N. Visor Academic Center is a division of University College that helps students in their first year and beyond. Tutors provide small‑group instruction for lower‑level courses on a weekly basis. The primary responsibility is tutoring, with additional tasks assigned by graduate assistant supervisors and the Coordinator of Academic Support Services. $15.00 per hour

Overall GPA of at least 2.80. A grade of A or high B is usually required in the course(s) in which the candidate intends to tutor.

Proficiency in the subject area with clear communication skills. Priority will be given to students with a 3.00 GPA. Additional coursework in the subject area is preferred.

6–15 hours per week, which may include evenings and weekends.
