The Spanish Teacher is responsible for instructing Spanish courses, supervising classroom activities, and supporting efficient school operations while upholding the school's mission and philosophy.

• Teach Spanish courses using a variety of instructional methodologies that meet the needs of all learners.
• Develop lesson goals, objectives, and strategies aligned with the course syllabus.
• Provide ongoing feedback to enhance student learning.
• Assess student performance at regular intervals, record results, and issue timely reports to students and parents.
• Integrate instructional technology into lesson plans to increase engagement and improve outcomes.
• Use electronic programs to communicate current student progress, assignments, classroom expectations, and instruction.
• Collaborate actively within the World Languages department.
• Engage in current educational research and contribute ideas to curriculum development and instructional improvement.

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Spanish and Secondary Education.
• Professional Educator Licensure in Illinois (preferred).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Collaborative, engaging, and relational abilities.
• Proficiency with position‑related technology.
