Adjunct Communication (Public Speaking) Instructor
Lincoln Land Community College seeks qualified part‑time instructors to teach Public Speaking in daytime classes at our main campus in Springfield and our locations in Taylorville, Litchfield, Jacksonville, and Beardstown.
Position ResponsibilitiesTeach introductory Public Speaking courses to undergraduate students.
Position Requirements- Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours of coursework in Communication.
- Prior teaching experience, preferably in a 100‑level college course in public speaking.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- One paid absence per class, per semester.
- Free access to the LLCC Fitness Center during available hours.
- Travel stipend for commuting more than twenty miles to campus.
- Tuition waiver for adjunct faculty and qualified dependents under age 22.
- Eligible to participate in the State Universities Retirement System (SURS) for qualifying assignments.
