Care Crew Mentor, Student Worker

Lincoln Land Community College is currently accepting applications for a friendly and approachable student leader who builds strong connections, shares helpful strategies, and guides peers towards personal success and campus/community resources.

• Offer peer-to-peer support through active listening and empathetic conversation.
• Share practical stress management techniques and strategies to promote wellness.
• Direct students to appropriate campus resources, including student support services, academic support services, care coordination, and local wellness resources.
• Direct students to appropriate community resources.
• Provide tips for academic success and personal well-being.

• Uphold LLCC’s mission and standards of conduct within the College and in dealings with students, staff, faculty, and the general public.
• Ensure compliance with FERPA and other regulations regarding confidentiality of and access to student and other institutional records.

Student Workers will be paid minimum wage and will work no more than 20 hours per week.

• Maintain satisfactory academic progress.
• Be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours) during the semester of employment, except for the summer term.
• Complete LLCC’s mandatory harassment prevention training within 30 days of employment.
• For work involving minors, employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
