Lincoln Land Community College is searching for qualified part‑time adjunct instructors to teach Manufacturing, Industrial Maintenance, and Electrical courses at its Springfield main campus and at the Jacksonville and Litchfield locations during the following class times.
Class Schedule- Springfield Campus
- Monday – Thursday mornings, 8:00 AM – 12:50 PM
- Monday – Thursday evenings, 5:00 PM – 9:50 PM
- Litchfield Campus
- Monday – Friday mornings, 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Monday – Thursday evenings, 5:00 PM – 9:50 PM
- Monday – Friday afternoons, 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM
As an adjunct faculty member at LLCC, you will receive one paid absence per class, per semester; free access to the LLCC Fitness Center; a travel stipend for commutes over twenty miles; and a tuition waiver benefit for adjuncts and their dependents under age 22. Eligible adjuncts may also join the State Universities Retirement System.
Position RequirementsApplicants must have at least 2,000 hours of employment in a manufacturing or industrial technology field, including production, machine operation, electrical systems, maintenance, or repair. Preferred qualifications include industry certification, credential, degree, or completed apprenticeship. Employment is contingent upon a successful criminal background check.
