About Right At School

Right At School is an after-school and extended day program provider serving the Mannheim School District. We focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind.

Location: Mannheim School District schools (wide assignment).
Pay rate: $16‑19 per hour (based on education and experience).
Program hours: Monday‑Friday 3:15 PM‑6:00 PM and Wednesday 7:45 AM‑10:25 AM.

• Lead daily program meetings to review goals, share ideas, discuss professional progress, and encourage collaboration.
• Plan, organize, and facilitate educational activities and curriculum aligned with program objectives.
• Model positive guidance, enforce effective classroom management, and maintain a safe nurturing environment.
• Monitor safety, address hazards, and follow all safety protocols; document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• At least 1 year of verifiable experience working with children under 13 in a childcare or school setting.
• Ability to lift 25 lb.
• Drive to inspire a love of learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexible to support additional local programs as needed.

• State‑specific licensing / certifications as required.
• First Aid and CPR in‑person (obtainable within 30 days of employment).
• Cleared tuberculosis test when required (obtainable within 30 days).
• Proof of MMR (or documentation).
• 18 + years of age.
• Proof of high school diploma / GED.
