Job DescriptionTitle of Vacancy: Math Teacher
Location: Lanphier High School
Contract Period: 180 days
Reports To: Building Principal
Requirements / Qualifications- Valid Illinois Professional Educators License with high school endorsement in Math
- Knowledge of instructional practices that promote supportive learning environments
- Ability to communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form and have had prior experiences demonstrating the use of collaborative teamwork
- Experience in flexible grouping instructional practices
- Working knowledge of integrated instruction and student-centered learning
- Work with students to build organizational skills
- Provide support to students for core classes through a tutorial model
- Assist students with self-monitoring of academic progress and communication with teachers
Work collaboratively with students and families to support student academic needs - Other duties as assigned
E FFECTIVE DATE: First contractual day of the
District 186 180-day calendar
Salary and Benefits: In accordance with current SEA negotiated agreement;
