Position DescriptionLincoln Land Community College is looking for qualified part‑time instructors to teach Electrical Maintenance courses at the college’s main campus in Springfield and at our Jacksonville and Litchfield locations for the class times listed below.
Springfield Campus- Monday – Thursday mornings, 8:00 AM – 12:50 PM
- Monday – Thursday evenings, 5:00 PM – 9:50 PM
- Monday – Friday mornings, 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Monday – Thursday evenings, 5:00 PM – 9:50 PM
- Monday – Friday afternoons, 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM
- Monday – Thursday evenings, 5:00 PM – 9:50 PM
- One paid absence per class, per semester.
- Free access to the LLCC Fitness Center (during available hours).
- Travel stipend if commuting more than twenty miles to campus.
- Tuition waiver benefit for adjunct faculty and their dependents under age 22.
- Participation in the State Universities Retirement System (SURS) for qualifying assignments.
- At least 2000 hours of employment in electrical maintenance.
- Associate’s degree in an electrical related field &/or completion of an apprenticeship program (Journeyman Electrician) preferred.
- Knowledge and skills in circuits, transformers, motors and generators, controls, wiring, PLC’s, solar installation, hydraulics/pneumatics, mechanical systems and robotics.
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
