Reports To: Building Principal
Requirements & Qualifications- Valid Illinois Professional Educators License with elementary endorsement
- Knowledge of current curriculum, instructional trends, and school improvement process
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
- Attend district in-services and professional development opportunities to implement new strategies for curriculum and instructional improvement
- Establish and implement appropriate evaluation procedures
- Active participation in staff development activities
- Contribute as a team member and/or leader to all school improvement initiatives
- Maintain a classroom climate and management plan conducive to learning
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, the public, and staff
- Other duties as assigned
