Sr. Training Specialist

Global Education delivers instructor‑led training for the Command Central software suite, enabling public‑safety customers to accelerate mission focus and make smarter, safer decisions.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who combines initiative, instructional experience, technical knowledge, and adaptability to tailor and enhance the customer education experience for varied learner levels, from end‑users to system administrators in the public‑safety environment.

• Teach and instruct agency customers and staff on the use and operating methods of complex software products and services.
• Conduct virtual and/or on‑site training for Motorola Command Central software and designated third‑party integrations.
• Present training using a variety of classroom methods, including Zoom, Google Meet, and Google Slides.
• Complete department‑required reports within set standards and deadlines.
• Manage communication with customers and internal stakeholders regarding project and training schedules.
• Compile comprehensive training and technical documents and course material for new and existing products or services.
• Measure knowledge transfer and training effectiveness.
• Operate under supervision from the Command Central Training Team Manager.

• Valid driver’s license.
• 1+ year experience working with Motorola Solutions customer software (preferred).
• 3+ years of technical training experience (preferred).
• 3+ years of public‑safety experience (preferred).
• 1+ year experience working with public‑safety products.
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customers and have legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• Position subject to working in high‑security areas governed by the DOJ’s Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy and requires passing a stringent fingerprint background check.

Frequent travel up to 50% of the time; domestic and occasional international trips.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely and ability to obtain required background clearance.
