- Review facility energy usage daily and provide guidance, best practices, and modifications to current operations
- Mentor the owner on energy strategies
- Directly manage Central Energy Plant operation and maintenance, including subcontractors, operators, and internal service providers
- Manage Maintenance Reserve Accounts for the Central Energy Plant
- Work with operators to ensure efficient plant operation
- Provide ongoing training to Plant Operators
- Develop and maintain the Plant Operating Manual
- Assist the EPC team with coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction activities with OMC operations
- Coordinate on-site troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts with the remote support services team
- Manage a single team or multiple teams consisting of one or more Asset Managers
- 6+ years of experience in managing multiple sites and/or multiple Assistant Asset Managers/Asset Manager I/II(s), managing a central plant or facility, or mechanical construction with a large mechanical subcontractor or MEP design consultant
- Well versed in building codes and associated standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
- 10–25% travel to job site(s)/office location
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
- Ability to move in different positions in tight and confined spaces
- Ability to remain stationary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Ability to adjust and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
- PE preferred or FE working towards obtaining PE
Demonstrates expertise in managing Central Energy Plant operations, including maintenance and subcontractor oversight, while providing strategic energy guidance and training to plant operators. Proficient in building codes and standards, with strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple teams effectively.
