Overview
Are you a highly skilled Engineer with expertise in materials science, ASME codes and graphite applications? We’re seeking an experienced Materials Engineer to support reactor design, fabrication and ensure material compatibility, performance, and modeling in highly regulated environments—supporting innovation in advanced nuclear reactor development.
ResponsibilitiesThe Materials Engineer will support reactor design and fabrication activities, ensuring material compatibility, performance, and modeling in regulated environments to enable innovation in advanced nuclear reactor development.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials, Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related science/engineering field.
- 5+ years of experience in material science or engineering, preferably in the nuclear, energy, or aerospace industries.
- Strong communication skills, familiarity with material manufacturing and processes, and experience with material fatigue and wear.
- Mid-Senior level
