We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our Engineering Automation Department—a role intentionally designed for experienced professionals who can independently lead sophisticated automation and machine-design initiatives from start to finish.

• Lead the mechanical design of complex automation systems, equipment, and tooling, integrating mechanical and pneumatic systems
• Develop advanced concepts, layouts, and specifications for new automated equipment and enhancements to existing systems
• Oversee the creation of detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and manufacturability
• Drive prototype development, evaluate performance, and refine designs for reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
• Manage project timelines, engineering workflows, and cross-functional communication to ensure successful execution
• Conduct design reviews, analyze test results, and implement improvements based on production feedback
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior designers and project team members
• Support long-term equipment evolution through continuous improvement and lifecycle design updates

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience in a manufacturing or automation-focused environment
• Strong ability to lead projects independently and collaborate effectively with manufacturing, engineering, and leadership teams

• Advanced 3D CAD expertise;
  Solid Works experience strongly preferred, including complex assemblies and machine design
• Hands-on understanding of automation equipment, tooling, and production environments
• Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, production-minded approach
