Autocad Designer​/Drafter

We are one of the few Engineering Firms in the Country that designs and builds its own creations in the wireless sector. We support Fortune 500 clients such as T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T.

We are seeking an AutoCAD Designer/Drafter to assist our team in supporting growing business. In this role, you will create architectural designs for wireless telecommunications sites including raw land cell towers, rooftops, tanks and more. This role requires strong experience utilizing the AutoCAD software tool.

This is a fully remote role but candidate must live in Illinois. Candidates will be required to complete an AutoCAD assessment prior to interview. Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor candidates at this time including those on OPT.

Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000 plus bonus

Responsibilities:

• Complete civil and architectural designs for wireless telecommunication sites
• Analyze and understand the specific project scope of work including existing electrical power and proposed power requirements
• Perform structural mappings on rooftops and take measurements on sites and collect data from the field sufficient to perform the designs in the office side
• Identify any potential space constraints/challenges and develop a solution for the site layout
• Perform site walks with the project manager and the customer whenever needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering field or Architecture; will consider candidates who have an AutoCAD certificate but lack an engineering degree
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must! Must be using AutoCAD daily to be considered proficient
• Designing commercial or telecom structures is preferred over residential
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, ETC.)
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong sense of urgency; we are a fast-paced environment
• Role is not best suited for Interior or Graphic Designers
