Field Services Engineer

This is a full-time, on‑site role for a Field Services Technician located in the Greater Chicago/Elgin Area. Responsibilities include providing field services, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and delivering technical support to customers. The role also involves client interfacing to address inquiries, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain long‑lasting relationships with clients.

• Experience in Field Service and customer site visits to install, maintain, or repair technical equipment
• Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for identifying and resolving equipment or system issues (electrical & mechanical a must, ideally in systems controls)
• Proficiency in performing Preventive Maintenance to ensure system reliability and longevity
• Excellent Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients and address their needs
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities
• Willingness to travel locally or regionally and work flexible hours as required
• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in plasma technology, manufacturing, or the industrial sector is a plus
