Salary Range: $90,000.00 To $ Annually
POSITION DESCRIPTIONWe are currently seeking a full‑time LICENSED SURVEYOR to join our Rock Island team. The Rock Island office is a fast‑paced full‑service engineering office that primarily focuses on the municipal, state, and federal markets. We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills to assist our current staff in serving our clients. Our preferred location would be in our ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS office but we will consider strong candidates in our SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS or CORALVILLE, IOWA locations.

- Use measurements of surveying equipment to determine property lines and boundaries.
- Research additional information about a property through titles, survey records and land records.
- Record accurate property lines and plots with the local land use authorities.
- Perform office work, such as deed research, and create base mapping utilizing AutoCAD software.
- Perform routine calculations such as transverse and lot closures.
- Provide professional representation of the Firm to clients, contractors, and the public.
- Perform boundary calculations, analysis, and field support calculations.
- Conduct research and analysis, title reports, ROW/E, Land Title Surveys, topography, and mapping.
- Prepare easements, plats and surveys.
- Assure project legal documents are completed and signed.
- 5 years or more experience in surveying
- Illinois Survey license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
