Position: Posdoc position at Northwestern Univ, IL, USA

Job Description

Annual salary over $37,000 and H1B support possible.

Requirements

Ph.D. in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or Material Science.

Responsibilities
  • Processing/fabrication of conventional and nano composites.
  • Microscopic Characterization (SEM, TEM).
  • Mechanical testing in servo hydraulic machine and thermomechanical testing in DMA.
  • Dynamic testing (impact, Hopkinson bar).
  • Use and setup of strain measuring and other instrumentation.
    • Skills

    Prefer combination of experimental and numerical/analytical skills.
