Senior Supplier Quality & Development Engineer
*
* Location:
REMOTE
** with a strong preference for on-site hybrid based out of a facility located in IN, KY, OH, PA, IL, VA, or WI. Will consider remote as well. Reporting to the Director of Supplier Quality and Development, the Senior Supplier Quality and Development Engineer is a critical contributor to the success of the Global Supply Chain Management function in the United States.
This role leads and executes both strategic and tactical Supplier Quality and Development initiatives across the Global Sourcing and Supplier Development organization. The position is responsible for driving supplier quality activities within sourcing projects and supply chain optimization efforts, applying strong technical expertise and quality engineering principles to achieve project goals and milestones. Additionally, this role provides technical leadership for Supplier Development projects, including continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Six Sigma, Lean tools, and best

Skills & Qualifications
*** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering with 7+ years of Supplier Quality and/or Quality Assurance experience
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes with expertise in at least two areas (e.g., castings, forgings, machining, plastics, coatings, heat treatment, metallurgy).
* Proficient in quality tools and methodologies:
Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, PFD, FMEA, PCP, MSA, SPC.
* Demonstrated problem‐solving, root‐cause analysis, and statistical methods.
* Strong Computer Literacy with MS Office products
* Strong analytical and project management abilities.
* Experience with formal supplier assessments, ISO 9001, TS16949, AIAG, CQI and AS9100 based assessments and various supplier audits.
* Background in metrology, inspection methods, and new product development.
* Experience with ERP systems
* Ability to work effectively across all organizational levels and within matrix teams, including supplier networks.
* Proven leadership experience with change management and stakeholder engagement.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications:
*** Advanced degree
* Quality or Engineering certifications. Six Sigma or similar professional certifications.
* Programming experience
* Lean Manufacturing knowledge
** Compensation Details:** $89,000 - $140,000 The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.
