Job Description & How to Apply Below

Tired of the same old routine? We are looking for an Automation Systems Modeling Engineer who thrives on solving complex intralogistics problems.

Company Overview

We design and integrate advanced supply chain solutions, delivering innovative software and technology systems to solve complex logistics challenges. With a strong commitment to growth and customization, we are seeking talented professionals who are passionate about material handling automation and customer-focused engineering.

Job Description:

We are building a brand new systems engineering group, and we need a foundational Automation Systems Modeling Engineer to lead the way. If you are passionate about transforming complex intralogistics layouts into highly accurate, physics-based 3D models, this is your chance to make a massive impact. You will be at the forefront of our simulation and emulation efforts, ensuring our advanced automation solutions perform flawlessly before they ever reach the field.

Join us and help shape the future of supply chain technology.

What You Will Do:
  • Transform automated intralogistics systems layouts into physics-based 3D models using digital twin software like Emulate3D.
  • Configure and develop models to accurately reflect the operation of equipment such as shuttles, cranes, conveyors, and robotics using C# and other programming tools.
  • Collaborate closely with our engineering, controls, and software teams to run simulations, validate system rates, and support full system integration testing.
  • Produce detailed documentation and reporting for simulations, including system performance analysis, reliability, and utilization metrics.
  • Support our Advanced Technologies group in building models for our proprietary product lines while maintaining strict version control of all modeling assets.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or software engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
  • At least four years of relevant experience, ideally with a strong background in material handling or industrial automation.
  • Hands‑on proficiency in a digital twin or simulation platform, with a strong preference for Emulate3D.
  • Solid C# programming experience used for extending and customizing simulation models.
  • Comfort working with data analysis tools like Excel and SQL, alongside a strong aptitude for navigating mechanical layouts in 3D environments.
  • Baseline familiarity with PLC programming to effectively connect models to controllers for emulation testing.

We offer a highly collaborative environment where you will work alongside our established Integrated Systems and Software teams. You will enjoy a competitive base salary, an annual company performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including 15 days of PTO and a 401(k) match. If you are ready to take ownership of our simulation efforts and build something incredible, apply now!
