Key Responsibilities- Support the development of MAGNA-TILES products by translating concept sketches and industrial design inputs into manufacturable product solutions.
- Create, revise, and maintain Solid Works models and engineering documentation based on industrial design direction.
- Partner with cross-functional teams in the U.S. and Asia to deliver innovative products that support business growth while meeting cost, quality, and timeline objectives.
- Serve as a primary engineering liaison to supplier engineering teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on technical requirements, schedules, and project deliverables.
- Provide mechanical engineering, materials, and product development expertise throughout all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Lead the development and integration of electronic components within the MAGNA-TILES product portfolio, as applicable.
- Drive prototyping activities to evaluate product concepts, validate critical features, and reduce technical and manufacturing risk.
- Plan and execute product testing, including functional and failure analysis, to verify product safety, reliability, and performance.
- Develop detailed technical specifications, engineering drawings, and supplier transfer packages to support successful manufacturing execution.
- Ensure product designs meet applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define product requirements, performance specifications, and bill of materials details.
- Proactively identify project risks and issues, elevate as needed, and recommend effective solutions to keep development efforts on track.

- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field required.
- 5+ years of hands‑on product development engineering experience in a CPG environment.
- Strong background in product development, mechanical design, or consumer product engineering.
- Knowledge of plastics, metals, and common manufacturing processes such as injection molding and assembly.
- Experience working with overseas suppliers, manufacturers, and outside vendors on engineering projects.
- Experience with Electronics and electronics manufacturing.
- Proficient in Solid Works and/or AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Stage Gate Product Development Processes.
- Entrepreneurial self‑starter who can manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, make sound decisions and work collaboratively with a positive, adaptable, team-oriented attitude.
