Asst. Project Manager, CM

Responsibilities

• Monitor, coordinate, and manage assigned construction engineering projects, including data center projects.
• Ensure construction operations are completed in accordance with contract schedule, specifications, budget, and quality standards.
• Manage all phases of the project life cycle, including budgeting, planning, design, bidding, construction, commissioning, move management planning, and close‑out services.
• Monitor design and construction activities to ensure they comply with contractual agreements and corporate quality standards.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules to ensure project objectives are met.
• Monitor, evaluate and develop project budgets, cash‑flow analyses, and cost estimates; review purchase orders, change orders, and invoices; forecast, identify, and address potential liabilities and risks.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve project issues and conflicts.
• Assist in the development and implementation of standards, protocols, policies, and procedures to facilitate project success.
• Utilize AutoCAD, BIM platforms, and construction project‑management applications such as ACC Autodesk, e‑Builder, Prolog, MS Project, Primavera P6, Blue Beam, Procore, MS Nexus, SharePoint, and Power BI.
• Spend up to 90% travel time at client project sites in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Ohio.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management, or a Master’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or project management with up to two years of required experience.
• Minimum three years’ experience in the duties described above, including at least one year with construction engineering projects for data centers.
• Proficiency in using construction project‑management software and analytical tools.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and risk‑management skills.
