Structural Engineer

Quigg Engineering Inc. (QEI) is a multi-disciplined civil engineering and surveying firm servicing both private and public sectors in Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Iowa. We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Project Manager to join our Structures Department in either our St. Louis, MO or Springfield, IL office.

• Act as Project Manager or Lead Engineer on projects under the direction of the company Structure Department head
• Utilize current technology and engineering software on projects
• Take a proactive role in business development activities
• Commit to quality and continuous improvement
• Develop junior structure staff

• Minimum of 5 years related work experience preferably with bridge design and transportation structure projects
• BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis required, MS in Structural Engineering preferred
• Missouri or Illinois PE license and SE license required
• Software knowledge including MS Office, Microstation and structural analysis programs
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of IDOT and ISTHA design standards and analysis desired
