VDC Manager

Responsibilities

• Utilize internal job description to create external requisition format.
• Work with team to refine and confirm the final description.
• Manage the BIM coordination process with limited oversight and leverage VDC tools to reduce project risk.
• Understand VDC Requirements contracts and assist in adjusting them for project specific requirements.
• Independently manage the BIM process during the early design phase coordination.
• Manage the scheduling, agenda creation, and running of key project milestone meetings.
• Create project BIM Execution Plan and independently run BIM kickoff meetings.
• Manage change process and incorporate updates to the federated model accessible by all project partners.

• Advanced knowledge of building construction and BIM processes.
• Advanced communication skills, verbal and written.
• Intermediate ability to conduct effective presentations.
• Ability to quickly and effectively solve complex problems.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management or BIM-related field or related two-year certificate combined with a minimum of 2 years industry experience.
• 5+ years commercial construction experience in a BIM or VDC related role.
• Advanced skills with BIM technology solutions including but not limited to:
  Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Autodesk AutoCAD, Bentley Synchro 4D, Rhino, Bluebeam, Procore BIM processes and workflows.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally.
• Willingness to travel, and/or relocate, as needed to execute projects.
