- Provide technical support for UOP CDU/VDU, Hydrotreating, Hydrocracking, Ecofining, and heavy oil technologies
- Transfer technology for UOP-licensed or UOP-designed units and units loaded with UOP catalyst
- Support new and revamped unit startups from pre-commissioning through guarantee acceptance
- Support units loaded with UOP catalyst from catalyst loading through guarantee acceptance
- Participate in customer meetings and engineering review meetings
- Review design bases, PFDs, P&IDs, MFDs, plot plans, HAZOPs, model reviews, and related materials
- Review commercial unit operating data and provide feedback
- Provide office-based and on-site troubleshooting assistance
- Conduct on-site commercial unit audits
- Prepare and update operating manuals, process technology manuals, and training materials
- Present UOP technology training courses in the US and abroad
- Participate in R&D technology improvement projects and champion technology changes through MOIs
- Author MOIs for processes within the area of responsibility
- Participate in Technical Symposiums and Sales Meetings
- Lead and support team development, retention, engagement, and inclusive culture initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of industry experience in CDU/VDU or Hydroprocessing
- Additional experience with at least one UOP technology:
Hydrotreating, Hydrocracking, Ecofining, or heavy oil technologies - Communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Good presentation skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks concurrently
- Basic knowledge of listed technologies, including equipment and operations
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Knowledge of UOP Unicracking, Unionfining, Ecofining, Heavy Oil, and other UOP Hydroprocessing and Renewables technologies
- Field experience is a plus
Demonstrates expertise in UOP technologies such as CDU/VDU, Hydrotreating, Hydrocracking, and Ecofining, with a strong ability to provide technical support, conduct audits, and prepare training materials. Proficient in communication and problem-solving, with a focus on team development and customer engagement.
