- Be accomplished on the piano and/or organ.
- Be a trained vocalist with the ability to sing in English, Spanish, and Latin.
- Rehearse, direct, and accompany the St. Patrick 6pm Saturday evening choir (time could change).
- Rehearse, direct, and accompany the St. Patrick Resurrection Choir (Funeral Choir) and be available for weekday funerals.
- Be available to accompany the St. Patrick School Choir at the 8:30am St. Patrick School Masses (1st & 3rd Thursdays during the school year).
- Attend monthly Music/Liturgy meetings.
- Substitute as needed rick and Our Lady of Humility churches.
- Extra Stipend Opportunities:
Weddings, Quinceañeras, and other liturgical services throughout the year.
- Demonstrate proficiency in vocal and instrumental music, with the ability to lead congregational singing.
- Experience in choral directing.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clergy, staff, and volunteers.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Degree in music preferred or equivalent music/liturgy experience.
The Music Minister must be familiar with and adhere to the following principles.
- Music serves a ministerial role in liturgy, enhancing prayer and sacred rites.
- The full, conscious, and active participation of the assembly should be encouraged.
- The rhythm of the liturgy, including the importance of silence must be respected.
- Be a leader who is encouraging, inviting, dependable, well-informed, and kind.
- The Music Minister reports directly to the Pastor and collaborates closely with music staff, parish staff, and the liturgical planning team.

This position has a salary range of $150.00 -$160.00 per event. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
